Existing Home Insulation in Southwest Missouri

If your home is difficult to keep comfortable or your energy bills seem too high, inadequate attic insulation may be the cause. Many homeowners throughout southwest Missouri simply don't have enough insulation to meet today's recommended standards. For Climate Zone 4A, blown-in fiberglass insulation—typically yellow, white, or pink—should be approximately 13 inches deep, while blown-in cellulose insulation, recognized by its brown paper-like appearance, should be about 11 inches deep. Springfield Insulation can evaluate your existing insulation and add the proper amount to improve your home's comfort, energy efficiency, and year-round performance.
